Midnight Munchies in South Beach, Miami on Espanola Way

In Spain, many people don’t even begin thinking about dinner until the middle of the evening, and the bar-hopping, small-plates routine of tapas extends deep into the night.

As one of Miami Beach’s preeminent Spanish restaurants, we do enjoy that nocturnal dining tradition—though of course we open at 12 PM each and every day, and happily serve diners whenever hunger strikes them in the afternoon or evening. We’re thus very excited about the upcoming Midnight Munchies soiree that Thrillist is bringing to our fabulous thoroughfare of Espanola Way this February.

At 11 PM on Saturday, February 24th, Midnight Munchies will turn the street into a gourmand’s wonderland, with a host of awesome local chefs serving up some of their most irresistible creations for late-night eaters. Among them will be our very own tapas maestro Chef Antonio Falcon!

Your Midnight Munchies Hosts: Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten and Action Bronson

Overseeing the festive and flavorful proceedings will be Jean-Georges Vongerichten, the legendary French-born, NYC-based master chef whose restaurant empire extends from Tokyo and Dubai to right here in Miami Beach (in the form of the Matador Room, Market at Edition, and Tropicale).

Chef Jean-Georges will share his hosting duties with chef-turned-rapper Action Bronson, who has four studio albums under his belt.

Two Hours of Epicurean Festivities

The Midnight Munchies affair goes until 1 AM, and as you’d hope the fabulous eats and Action-packed (pardon the pun) soundtrack will come lubricated by libations worthy of a midnight party on Espanola Way, including some refreshing Patrón Tequila cocktails…

Chef Antonio Falcon is looking forward to representing Tapas y Tintos cuisine at Midnight Munchies, and we hope you’ll swing by and sample his masterpieces—plus the fare all of our fine fellow Miami restaurants will be offering for the party.

Late Night Tastes Delicious Year Round at Tapas y Tintos

And don’t forget—here at Tapas y Tintos, we’re always open late: till 11:45 PM Sundays through Thursdays, and an hour later on Friday and Saturday nights. So if a Spanish-style appetite strikes you late in the evening, we want to help you deal with it via truly exceptional tapas and paella, plus whatever wine, beer, cocktails, or other refreshments you deem appropriate.
