Best Miami Restaurant near Hard Rock Stadium for Soccer

Not long ago here on the Tapas y Tintos blog we highlighted what a fabulous destination for association football we are. And in this World Cup year we’ve got a match to spotlight that’s extra-special, given it’s going down within an hour’s drive from our Spanish restaurant here on Espanola Way in South Beach!

We’re talking about the faceoff between two 2018 World Cup qualifiers, Peru and Croatia, taking place at 8 PM on Friday, March 23 at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens. If you’re planning on attending, we invite you to combine the onfield action with a delicious feast at Tapas y Tintos beforehand—and if you aren’t going, rest assured we’ll be playing the match live right here, so come on down and watch!

Peru & Croatia: 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers

Russia will host the 2018 FIFA World Cup between June 14 and July 15. Peru has qualified for the first time in 36 years; it’s 11th in the current FIFA World Rankings, with Croatia—which appeared in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil—coming in at 15th.

Watch Peru Take on Croatia at Hard Rock Stadium—and Add an Authentic Spanish Meal at Tapas y Tintos!

Tickets for the Peru vs. Croatia World Cup preparation game at the Hard Rock Stadium went on sale January 10th; you can purchase them here. The venue is best known as the home of the Miami Dolphins, the Miami Hurricanes, and the Orange Bowl, but along with a couple of World Series and several Super Bowls (and another to come in 2020), Hard Rock Stadium has played host to more than a few high-profile soccer matches—this one is sure to be a treat!

Fuel yourself up for the football action with a hearty meal of authentic Spanish tapas and paella at Tapas y Tintos ahead of the match: We open at noon on Friday, so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy our exceptional menu before heading northwest to Hard Rock Stadium.
